With the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF), and the Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI), The Lebanese Council for the Freedom of Association- (LCFA) organized a seminar on the “Status of the Freedom of Association in Lebanon” on the 09th of December 2011 at Le Bristol Hotel. The seminar included two key note speakers; Mr. Omar Zein (Secretary General of the Arab Lawyers Union) and PM Dr. Marwan Fares (member of the parliamentarian human rights committee). This seminar falls within LCFA’s strategy to increase awareness on the importance of the freedom of association and expression in Lebanon.
