The Friedrich Neumann Foundation and it's regional partner , the Arab Center for the Rule of Law and Integrity-ACRLI, and its national partners: the National Center for Human Rights-Oman, the Coalition for Fairness- Ramallah and Gaza, and The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights-Cairo, organized a Regional conference in the framework of the project on “Freedom of Association” entitled: “Freedom of Association-a Roadmap for the Future” which was held in The League of Arab States-Cairo, on February 10-13, 2010.

This Conference comes as the final activity for the project and it aims at announcing the establishment of the Arab Council for the Right of Assembly and Organization's in the Arab World.

This conference gathered delegations from Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Yemen and Bahrain, in addition to the regional and international implicated organizations
