In the context of the Project on "Provision of Legal Training Components for Legal Institutions of Iraq” (LTI) implemented by ACRLI with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Iraq; ACRLI organized a training session on "Judicial Ethics and Integrity and the Judicial Independence" from 09 to 12 January 2011 in Erbil-Iraq.

The participants included representatives from the Higher Judicial Councils (HJC), Kurdistan Judicial Council (KJC), Judicial Development Institute (JDI), Ministries of Justice (MOJ), Judicial Training Institute (JTI), Pilot Court in Erbil (PCE), Pilot Court in Baghdad (PCB), and Pilot Court in Basra (PCBs).

The training session lasted for 3 days aims at enhancing the knowledge and building the capacity of the targeted groups on the above mentioned topic.
