Social Workers Manual for the Protection of Child in Conflict with the Law
ACRLI has elaborated a training manual “Social Workers’ Manual for the Protection of the Child in Conflict with the Law” to provide a reference tool for social workers working with children in conflict with the law within a system of procedures consistent with international standards, national legislation, and best practices; and to achieve coordination and integration among those involved with children in conflict with the law, in particular among social services providers and lawyers.
The manual contains general provisions on children in conflict with the law; the role of social services providers in protecting the rights of children in conflict with the law; and focuses on the importance of cooperation between social services providers and lawyers to protect the child.
This training manual was produced, within the framework of “Improving the Juvenile Justice and Advancing the Human Rights of Children and Adolescents” project supported by the Heartland International Foundation.
