| Second Discussion group on Media and Electoral Spending in Lebanon (January 29, 2026) | | The Arab Center for the Development of Rule of Law and Integrity - ACRLI organized the second discussion group session to discuss the research paper on "Media, Electoral Advertising, and Campaign Financing in Lebanon", held at The Key Hotel – Badaro, Beirut. This session is part of the Inclusive Democratic Participation Project, implemented by ACRLI in partnership with ECES and with the support of the European Union.
The session brought together experts and specialized journalists to explore practical challenges related to transparency, electoral integrity, and equal opportunities, focusing on the compliance of media, political parties, and candidates with electoral laws.
Participants also reviewed the study’s key findings and proposed recommendations to strengthen technical, operational, and oversight mechanisms, aiming to promote fairer and more transparent elections. | | | |
