| Second Town Hall Meeting on New Voting Techniques in Zahle (July 30, 2026) | | The Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) continued its series of Town Hall meetings by organizing the second meeting on “New Voting Techniques” in Zahle on 30 July 2026, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Zahle and the Bekaa and USPEak.
The meeting brought together citizens—particularly young people, women, and persons with disabilities—alongside local stakeholders and members of the Zahle Municipality, to share their priorities, concerns, and proposals regarding New Voting Techniques that can ensure more inclusive elections. The discussions contributed to broadening the dialogue on advancing democratic reforms and promoting inclusive public participation in Lebanon.
The meeting was held within the framework of the project “Inclusive Democratic Participation: Promoting Education, Engagement, and Oversight in Lebanon,” implemented in partnership with the European Centre for Electoral Support (ECES) and with the support of the European Union. | | | |
