National Workshop on “Commercial Law as a Tool to Promote Economic Development in Tunisia”(13-14 January 2009)

In the context of the MENA Commercial Law Strengthening (MENA-CLS) Project, the Arab Center for the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) organized, with the support of MEPI, a national workshop on “Commercial Law as a Tool to Promote Economic Development in Tunisia”, on 13-14 January 2009. The workshop, which was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Commerce and Artifacts was opened by the H.E. the Minister, Mr. Ridha TOUETI and concluded by H.E. the Minister in Charge of Civil Service and Administrative Reform, Mr. Zouheir MDHAFFAR.

The workshop is part of a series of workshops and events that will be held in the context of the MENA-CLS Project to discuss commercial law issues and contribute To (i) improve the capacity to understand complex commercial law and regulations within the business and legal communities in the MENA region, and To (ii) increase private sector participation in commercial law policymaking.
